Between Two Thieves On Calvary

Condemned you were, dear LORD,

Of GOD the only Son,

By leaders of the people

To heal and save you’d come

Matthew 27:32

As they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name; him they compelled to bear His cross.

Luke 23: 32-33

Two other men, criminals were also being led off to be crucified with Him.

And when they got to the place called Skull, they nailed Him to the cross alongside the criminals, one on His right and one on His left.

Luke 23: 34

Jesus was saying, “Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Matthew 27: 45-46

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “My GOD, my GOD, why hast thou forsaken Me?”

Matthew 27: 51-53

And behold, the curtain hanging in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

And came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared to many.

Matthew 27: 54

Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of GOD.

Praise the LORD
