Gifts From The Holy Spirit

Galatians 4: 6-7

To show that you are His children, GOD sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who cries out, “Father, My Father.”

You are no longer a slave but a child.  And since you are His child, GOD will give you all that He has for His children.

1 Corinthians 12: 13-11

No one who is led by GOD’s Spirit can say ” A curse on Jesus!” and no can confess “Jesus is LORD,” without being guided by the Spirit.

There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them.

There are different ways of serving, but the same LORD is served.

There different abilities to perform service, but the same GOD gives ability to all for their particular service.

The Spirit’s presence is shown in some way in each person for the good of all.

The Spirit gives one person a message full of wisdom, while to another person same Spirit gives a message full of knowledge.

One and the same Spirit gives faith to one person, while to another person He gives the power to heal.

The Spirit gives one person the power to work miracles; to another, the gift of speaking GOD’s message; and to yet another, the ability to tell the difference between gifts that come from the Spirit and those that do not.

To one person He gives the ability to speak in stange tongues, and to another He gives the ability to explain what is said.

But it is one and the same Spirit who does all this; as He wishes, He gives a different gift to each person.

Galatians: 5: 5-6

Our hope is that GOD will put as right with Him; and this is what we wait for by the power of GOD’s Spirit working through our faith.

What matters is faith that works through love.

Galatians 6: 7-8

No one makes a fool of GOD.  You will reap exactly what you plant.

If you plant in the field of your natural desires, from it you will gather the harvest of death; if you plant in the field of the Spirit, from the Spirit you will gather the harvest of eternal life.

Genesis 8: 22

As long as the world

Deuteronomy 6: 4-5

The LORD- and the LORD alone- is our GOD.

Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Deuteronomy 7: 9-10

Remember that the LORD your GOD is the only GOD and that He is faithful.  He will keep His covenant and show His constant love to thousand generations of those who love Him and obey His commands, but He will not hesitate to punish those who hate Him.

Joshua 24: 14

Honor the LORD and serve Him sincerely and faithfully.

Psalm 36: 7-9

How precious, O GOD, is your constant love!

We find protection under the shadow of your wings.

We feast on the abundant food you provide; you let us drink from the river of your goodness.

You are the source of all life, and because of your light we see the light.

Psalm 20: 12-14

None of us can see our own errors; deliver us, LORD, from hidden faults!

Keep us safe, also, from willful sins; don’t let them rule over us.

Then we shall be perfect and free from the evil of sin.

May our words and our thoughts be acceptable to you,

O LORD, our refuge and our redeemer.

Amen.
