Who Is, Who Was, And Who Is To Come
John 11: 5
Jesus loved Martha and her sister Mary and Lazarus.
Mary was the one who poured the perfume on the LORD’s feet and wiped them with her hair; it was her brother Lazarus who was sick.
John 13; 1, 34
It was now the day before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. He had always loved those in the world who were his own, and he loved them to the very end.
And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
John 14: 31
The world must know that I love the Father; that is why I do everything as He commands me.
John 15: 9-10, 12
I love you just as the Father loves me; remain in my love.
If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remains in His love.
My commandment is this: love one another, just as I love you.
Romans 8: 35, 37
Who, then, can separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble do it, or hardship or persecution or hunger or poverty or danger or death?
No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!
2 Corinthians 5: 14-15
We are ruled by the love of Christ, now that we recognize that one man died for everyone, which means that they all share his death.
He died for all, so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but only for him who died and was raised to life for their sake.
Galatians 2: 20
I have been put to death with Christ on his cross, so that it is no longer I who lives in me. This life that I have now, I live by faith in the Son of GOD, who loved me and gave his life for me.
Ephesians 3: 14-19
For this reason, I fall on my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth receives its true name.
I ask GOD from the wealth of His glory to give you power through His Spirit to be strong in your inner selves, and
I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love,
so that you, together with all GOD’s people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ’s love.
Yes, may you come to know his love- although it can never be fully known- and so be completely filled with the very nature of GOD.
Revelation 1: 5
Grace and peace be yours from GOD, who is, who was, and who is to come, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first to be raised from death and who is also the ruler of the kings of the world.
